Do I have to pay for my policy in one lump sum?
No, we also offer a monthly instalment option allowing you to spread the cost of your premium.

Am I insured to carry a pillion passenger?
If your bike is over 250cc and you hold the relevant motorcycle licence you are insured to carry a pillion passenger.

Am I covered for courier work?
No, your policy will not cover you for any courier work.

Do you insure scooters and superbikes?
Yes, we insure both scooters and superbikes.

What bikes don't you insure?
We cannot insure quad bikes or monkey bikes, and Chinese imports can only be covered on a third party only basis.

What optional extras can I add to my policy?
Legal Cover, Breakdown Cover, European Breakdown Cover, GAP Protection and Key Cover (cover for lost or stolen keys).

What levels of cover do you offer?
We offer fully comprehensive, third party fire and theft and third party only cover for your bike.

Can I renew my policy online?
Bike renewals are dealt with by our dedicated renewals team. Call 0845 683 0740 to speak to a dedicated agent.

Do you insure classic bikes?
Yes, provided you have held your full licence for one year or more.

Are my Helmet and Leathers covered under my policy?
Your Helmet and Leathers will only be covered in the event of a non-fault claim and where third party details are provided.

How quickly will I receive my insurance documents?
Your insurance documents will be dispatched within one working day.

Can I get a quote without the vehicle registration number?
Yes you can get a quote without your registration number and cover can be incepted on a chassis number, if the registration number is not available.

What is NCD?
No Claims Discount (NCD), also referred to as No Claims Bonus, is a discount given to riders who have not claimed on their bike insurance policy for a set period. Each year the rider does not make a claim they are rewarded with another years NCD which equates to a larger discount at policy renewal.

Can I view or change my policy online?
Any changes to an existing policy will be dealt with by our customer services team. Please call 0845 683 0740 to make a change.

Can I get instant cover?
New policies can be purchased online and cover can be arranged, if required, to start the same day.

Can I temporarily add a rider?
This is available dependant on the rider and the underwriter chosen on our panel.

Is it safe to pay for my policy over the internet?
We use Worldpay which is a totally secure online payment function.

How do I retrieve a quote?
On the YouChooseinsurance.co.uk website homepage there is the option to 'retrieve a quote'.
